Important: If you're on Windows, I recommend the downloaded build since HTML5 is having issues with performance after wave 3.

My first entry in a game jam (Godot Wild Jam #50). Was a very fun project to work on (even though I've never touched Godot, or GDscript before hand).

All code, art, music, soundfx, etc.. was made during the game jam by me. (Besides the font)
Wanted to get a lot more done, but here we are at the deadline :)

Probably will keep working on this after the GameJam.

Instructions:
Use WASD or LeftStick to move around.

Survive, Sacrifice enemies on the ritual circles, gain resources, spend them to get stronger, and beat the final boss!

Thank you so much for playing my game!

(sorry about any bugs/issues currently in the build)

nice idea but simple sugestion, set the spawn wave for the bone throwing skulls for after the 3rd wave as it gets somewhat hard to get past a army of them

That's a really good suggestion. Since I made this for the Godot Wild Jam #50 I didn't really have much time to balance everything, but I definitely feel like changing up waves, adding new enemy AI, and different attacks (while also taking more time to balance things, and create better wave structures) will make the game feel a lot better.

specifically i think the bone throwing skulls cause the player to just run around in circles, especially in earlier eaves when the player hasn't had a chance for any speed upgrades.

Sorry for rambling haha.

Thank you so much for playing my game, and for the great feedback!

IN regards of the rambling it's all good.
I acually got a lucky run right after writing the comment and was able to actually beat it.
I'm a sucker for these kinda games as of late and your's has most certainly potential especially with the kill enemies in specific areas to grow stronger, haven't seen any who give it this kind of a spin, quite refreshing really.

IF you're willing to keep working on it I'll bee looking forward to your progress andwill keep an eye on it.
Keep it up.
